Biography

Zeyu Cai is an Associate Professor with the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering at Peking University and a Senior Member of the IEEE.

He received his Ph.D. degree from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, his M.Sc. degree with distinction from the University of Edinburgh, and his B.Sc. degree from Nankai University.

His research focuses on high-performance sensor interface circuits, analog integrated circuits, and mixed-signal IC design. His work has been published in leading international journals and conferences in the fields of integrated circuits and sensors, including IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), ISSCC, TRANSDUCERS, and ESSCIRC.

From 2017 to 2021, he worked at NXP Semiconductors in the Netherlands as a Senior Design Engineer in the Personal Health and IoT business unit, where he led the development of several core product projects, obtained multiple international patents, and contributed to products that were successfully commercialized.

Since joining Peking University in 2021, his research has focused on high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, with particular emphasis on fully integrated CMOS intelligent sensor chips, precision analog circuits, and high-performance data converters.
