1st Workshop on Efficient Real-time Data Network

in conjunction with

39th IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium (RTSS 2018)

Nashville, Tennesse, USA

11th December 2018
(Submission deadline extended to Thurs 27thSept 2018)

Workshop Introduction

Emerging applications and services, such as 5G, AR/VR, Industry 4.0 and Internet of Vehicles, require more advanced transmission technologies, which provide lower latency and jitter, better QoS as well as higher throughput. Along with the rapid speeding up of bandwidth from 10 Mbps to 400 Gbps, more attention should be paid to real-time applications and scenarios. This workshop is intended to gather people from both academia and industry to present their most recent work on real-time communication issues, as well as exchange ideas and thoughts. The topics of interest include but not limit to new network architectures, technologies and protocols specifically in the context of real-time applications.Relevant viewpoints, findings, latest research and project are all welcomed.
