导师与研究领域、方向:
    王荣刚,北京大学副教授。2006年3月获中科院计算技术研究所计算机应用专业博士学位。2006年3月~2010年8月,法国电信研究员。2010年8月加入北京大学深圳研究生院,2010年8月~2011年8月,助理教授;2011年8月至今,副教授;2016年5月至今,信息工程学院院长助理。研究方向为多媒体信息处理技术,主要研究兴趣包括视频编码技术、三维虚拟现实视频技术和图像增强技术。在上述领域发表国际高水平期刊和会议论文80余篇,申请国际/国内发明专利70余项,20余项技术提案被国际/国家视频编码标准采纳。作为项目负责人承担国家科技部863计划、国家自然科学基金、深圳市以及腾讯、华为、创维和华星光电等公司委托科研项目。2017~2020,IEEE Circuits and Systems Society(CASS), Visual Signal Processing and Communication Technical Committee委员;担任国际MPEG互联网视频压缩标准(IVC:Internet Video Coding)专题组联合组长和IEEE 虚拟现实视频内容编码标准(1857.9 Immersive Visual Content Coding)专题组组长。获得IEEE 1857标准杰出贡献奖和AVS标准2012、2014年度贡献奖。

5. 2011.6至今,腾讯、华为、创维、华星光电等公司委托研究项目,项目负责人;
