研究方向:1、面向智能微系统的软硬件协同设计; 2、计算机视觉与智能机器人; 3、图像处理与模式识别。

导师与研究领域、方向:

    刘宏,工学博士、北京大学教授、博士生导师,国家“万人计划”首批专家, 科技部“国家中青年科技创新领军人才”。兼任中国人工智能学会副理事长,全国智能机器人创新联盟副理事长,深圳市政协委员(科学技术界)。现任北京大学深圳研究生院科研处处长、智能机器人开放实验室主任。计算机科学学士(1990年)、计算机科学硕士(1993年)、机电控制及自动化博士(1996年),计算机科学博士后出站(1998年),先后师从蔡鹤皋院士、王选院士、石青云院士等著名专家。1996年起在北京大学任教,先后担任“长江学者”团队核心成员、视觉与听觉信息处理国家重点实验室副主任、北京大学智能科学系副主任、北京大学深圳研究生院教务处处长、科研处处长。

    长期从事计算机视觉和听觉、模式识别与图像处理、智能机器人等领域的教学科研和产业化工作,先后承担 20余项国家863课题、 973课题和国家自然科学基金等重要科研项目,在IEEE Transaction on Cybernetics (TCYB), IEEE Transaction on Signal Processing(TSP), IEEE Transaction on Multimedia(TMM), IEEE Transaction on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology(TCSVT), IEEE Transaction on Audio, Speech and Language Processing(TASLP), Pattern Recognition和IJCAI, ACM MM, ICRA, IROS等重要国际期刊和学术会议上发表学术论文200多篇。近年来,主要研究成果被国内外著名同行研究机构引用上千次,相关成果申报/获得国家发明专利40余项。获国家航天科技进步奖、吴文俊人工智能科学技术奖、日内瓦国际发明博览会奖、CAAI最佳青年科技成果奖、北京大学教学优秀奖、安泰奖和北京大学“十佳教师”候选人等荣誉。

    多次赴美国、加拿大、法国、日本、新加坡等国家和地区的多所著名大学和研究机构访问交流,在IROS、ICRA、ROBIO、IIHMSP等多个重要国际学术会议上担任 Keynote Speaker、Co-Chair、PC Member和Session Chair等,兼职Elsevier出版社CAAI Transaction on Intelligence Technology国际期刊主编。刘宏教授2013年成为全国智能机器人领域首批入选国家“万人计划”的五位学者之一;参与创建全国第一个智能科学系和智能科学技术专业,已培养博士、硕士研究生108名,是我国人工智能教育和新学科建设的积极倡导者,是智能机器人领域科技创新的潜心实践者。
